Broward County Captain
Paula is a Latinx immigrant from Colombia and a community organizer. She has been working with for immigrant rights since 2012. Paula is passionate about working to end mass incarceration and fighting private prison systems. She is a Broward organizer at the Service Employees Union Florida. She is marching because she wants to send a clear message to the government leadership that we are strong and we will continue love, protect and fight in solidarity for the rights of black and brown people, the LGBTQ community , indigenous people, muslim people , workers, undocumented immigrants, women and anyone who continue to be targeted and criminalized.
Scarleth is a community organizer originally from Bolivia. As a Latina working in the immigrant movement since 2011, her focus is representing her community. She organizes and fights for the undocumented immigrant community and is further involved in movements championing equal rights for Women and the LGBTQI community.
