Autumn Lynn Tomas
Autumn Lynn Tomas grew up in a small, liberal Ohio town, the daughter of a biracial hippy couple who took her on her first pro-choice march when she was in middle school and the granddaughter of civil rights peace activists who taught her she could help change the world. Autumn currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and is the Director of Head Start/Early Head Start for Episcopal Children's Services. Her professional background includes almost 25 years in early childhood education and nonprofit services, 11 years in social services, and 5 years in grant-writing and reviews. Autumn has volunteered with local youth groups and has served on various nonprofit boards in Ohio and Florida. Autumn is married with two sons and a daughter, as well as 5 small dog children. When not working and volunteering, she enjoys being at the beach, reading and camping.
