Lisa Perry
​St. Peterburg/Pinellas County Captain


Lisa Perry has a background in Anthropology.  She has traveled to Ethiopia to do ethnographic research with the Gamo culture in Southern Ethiopia.  She has also spent time in Indonesia working with several different local schools to promote English acquisition.  During her time there she was a guest speaker at a conference for high school and university teachers to promote education.  Lisa has continued to work with these schools from the US and have facilitated the funding for several scholarships for women to gain a college education.
For the past several years Lisa has been working with local preschools and elementary schools to fundraise and support the children’s educational needs.  During the Hilary Campaign she was a team leader/ captain and ran the voter registration, volunteer recruitment, and event planning.  Lisa also worked with local shelters for both the homeless and women’s shelters to provide food and services.
